Student of Music Composition Change Story

 

Everything I read tells me that I will need to work 15 years before I can recoup the cost of my bachelors degree. But right now, I don't have realistic alternatives to a traditional 4 year University.

 

However, I need to be able to work with the latest scoring technology when I graduate. And that's not happening. We are using old equipment, and I feel like my entire college education will have a shelf life of about 2 years.  Everything I learn will be obsolete.

 

We have to be at the cutting edge of technology to make our time here worthwhile.
